Le Chéri is a handmade accessory brand. In French

“Le Chéri” means beloved, precious which

represented to our products and also the person who wear them. In our collections, every single product is handmade by designer using a knotting method called “macramé”.

 

Macramé is a form of textile produced using knotting techniques, which is popular in 13th Century Victorian era. On that time people are using this knotting technique to make household items such as tablecloths, bedspreads and curtains. This traditional knotting technique seems to be forgotten in the 21st Century. Nowadays there are lots of mass produced products. We want to arouse people’s awareness to handcrafts and to preserve this technique in the future. E17.
